An eight classroom Gaelscoil with library and multi-purpose hall, this purpose-built school at the entrance to the town commands spectacular views towards the Back-strand and the town itself, and was built to replace a series of 30 year-old prefabs. The two-storey building faces south on a sloping site and the works were phased to keep the existing facilities operational during the construction.
