The purpose of this report was to present an in-depth urban study of the city’s historic quarter and to propose best practice solutions for its consolidation and transformation. It includes a study of its history, urban morphology and fabric and will make proposals for future compatible uses and public realm interventions. the report has been commissioned by Waterford city council as part of its submission on future plans for the area.
